STUFFED ACORN

Ingredients

4 acorns, cut in half and seeded

2 oz butter, melted

4 pinches brown sugar 

3 oz canned pumpkin

1½ lbs pasta

½ qt heavy cream 

1 oz dried cherries 

1 oz pumpkin seeds

1 oz English peas 

Salt and pepper


 

Directions

Preheat oven to 425°. While heating, use a fork score your acorn, so the favors can get inside. Then, brush the butter and brown sugar; place in oven; allow to get golden-brown. This should take 15-20 minutes. 

While this is cooking, heat cream pasta in a large sauce pan with whatever butter left for the peas. Allow sauce to develop, then add cherries and pumpkin seeds. Add salt pepper and taste, then place the pasta inside the acorns and enjoy.
