THE FACES OF LUXURY LIVING IN DEWEY BEACH

Coastal Style's Faces of the Shore 2017

The seaside community of Dewey Beach is the focus of a lot of attention these days, and The Residences at Lighthouse Cove is a big reason for that. Spearheaded by multi-award-winning commercial-real-estate developer Harvey Hanna & Associates, the 27-units constituting the Lighthouse Cove Dewey Beach condo complex, a stone’s throw from Dewey’s famed Rusty Rudder, will be a gleaming example of the upscale transition of an already beloved community.

“We’re seeing more baby strollers and dogs than I’ve ever seen in years past, and it’s exciting to watch,” said Managing Director Thomas J. Hanna about the evolution of Dewey Beach from a place with a reputation for hard-partying visitors into a family-friendly community by the sea.

The complex’s 27 units, ranging from one to four bedrooms, will arrive this summer and include a myriad of amenities intended to satisfy the most demanding homeowner. Among them will be balconies with bay and ocean views; wide-plank porcelain flooring; brushed-chrome door hardware; insulated high-impact, low-e double-hung windows and sliding balcony doors; 42” shaker-style maple cabinets with brushed chrome hardware; granite kitchen counters and bathroom vanities; and frameless master-bath shower enclosures.

Also as of this summer, The Residences at Lighthouse Cove will also provide a third-floor rooftop infinity pool, bayside public-beach access and expanded private garage parking. Just a single block from the Atlantic Ocean, The Residences makes it effortless to dine at either Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant or the Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar. There’s also a watersports kiosk, kayak/stand-up paddleboard rentals and, with a fitness center and an indoor pool for a fee. Upon completion of the project in 2018, there will also be a 400-foot Bayfront public walkway.

“Today we celebrate a milestone in creating a highly sought-after destination,” HHA president Thom Harvey said at the Phase II groundbreaking of what his company considers the premier ocean/bay block in the mid-Atlantic region. “We created a great place for our guests to visit and our owners to call home.” Phase I units are sold out; condo prices start at $459,000.

Valuable incentives are in place for a limited time for those buyers who act quickly.
