THE FACES OF FRESH LOCAL SEAFOOD FAVORITES

Coastal Style's Faces of the Shore 2017

Matt’s Fish Camp on Coastal Highway in North Bethany Beach is the quintessential roadside fish shack. Serving fresh local seafood in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere, Matt’s has become a favorite of locals and summer visitors who crave traditional seafood favorites or something a little more creative.  Brenton Lyman is the head chef at Matt’s Fish Camp Bethany and has been working in SoDel kitchens since 2013. He is a young chef who is up-to-date with the latest trends in the culinary world, and his style of cooking truly exhibits the beautiful, simple food that SoDel Concepts has come to be known for. His signature dish is pan-seared day-boat scallops served over roasted Brussels sprouts and squash. Other menu staples include the lobster roll, crab cakes, fried shrimp, Ipswich clams and a daily fresh-fish selection, as well as chef-inspired specialties like shrimp-and-crab diavolo and crab mac and cheese. Matt’s is the place for an enjoyable night out or lunch on a rainy beach day where everyone feels welcome and at home.
