This home, situated on a pristine wooded peninsula in Worcester County, recently underwent a dramatic and extreme whole house makeover.
When we embarked on this project, the home, a basic “L-shaped” rancher, failed to capitalize on any of the natural amenities that this very unique site had to offer. Quaint wooded vignettes, intimate creek scenery and expansive views of the St. Martin’s River and Ocean City skyline, beyond, were ignored.
During a previous renovation, the owners installed large plate glass windows in various locations to enhance these amenities. It was a great improvement, but proved to be just an initial stage of what would become a complete makeover.
