Spring. After what seemed to be the winter that refused to end, it feels great to finally be able to say the word “spring” and experience all of the wonderful aspects that accompany the season of rejuvenation and optimism.

Green grasses, budding trees and blooming flowers are around every corner. The sounds of children playing in local parks, seasonal businesses reopening and the return of second homeowners (for more than a day) signals that the difficult days dealing with the snow and ice have melted into distant memories. Doesn’t it feel great?

Spring gives each one of us the chance to focus on something new – a promise, a project or a passion. At Coastal Style Magazine, our early spring issue is an opportunity to expand our comprehensive content through new editorial departments, introduce you to new a collection of quality advertisers and provide more ways for you, our valued readers, to receive expert advice and tips on our newly redesigned website – CoastalStyleMag.com.

For years, Coastal Style Magazine has been renowned for its incredible photography, engaging features, stories and columns from our award-winning contributors. With the addition of departments such as Coastal Style Family, Seeing Green, Mind, Body, Soul, and From This Day Forward, we feel that we’ve taken our magazine to the next level. We hope this new content will be informative and entertaining for you and your entire family. A few highlights inside this issue include: taking a lap with the highly successful Coastal Aquatics Swim Team; an in-depth examination of Attention Deficit Disorder and its affects with Dr. Diane Ceruzzi; a visit to the fun and eco-friendly Go Green Baby Co. store; a look at the work performed by the talented team of Mark Gibbons and Chuck Coleman from Sea Rock Contracting; and dishing up delicious vegetarian recipes you’re sure to enjoy.

We care about what you want to read in Coastal Style Magazine and welcome and appreciate your feedback. That’s why we’re asking you to visit CoastalStyleMag.com and submit story ideas, questions you'd love to have answered, home-related ideas and tips you’d like to see or share, and any other topic you would like to read more about. We’ll consult our advertisers and share their feedback either online, in print, or both.
We invite newlyweds to submit their wedding photos and celebration details through our website so we can share your big day with our readers. And coming soon, look for our special section devoted exclusively to weddings.

Yes, it’s spring. We hope you enjoy this issue and the warmer temperatures!

Erin
