NEW YEAR. NEW BEGINNINGS. NEW YOU. New Year. New beginnings. New you.    January always encourages change. New looks. New goals. Although change is good – I think it’s important to remember that a fresh look doesn’t necessarily have to mean a new look, and a fresh start toward a long-term goal doesn’t have to equal a brand new direction all together. Accomplishing “new” is a tall order – when sometimes just striving for “improved” is all that we need to jump start the New Year — and that’s much less intimidating.    Sometimes simply pausing can help us to find a fresh perspective. And just taking a step forward can catapult even the biggest procrastinator into action – propelling the person in the most drastic slump forward. This is all change but not deviation.
